How the First Identification Happened

This sensational event of the Laxmipur village was eventually heard by Deben Bain as the information spreaded to the immediately adjacent village of Rajarmath. Next morning (even early morning, as reported by Renu Biswas) Deben himself visited Laxmipur. But he took shelter in a neighboring house of Suchitra which belonged to Prafulla Biswas [coded Z2, in my academic paper for future publication], an uncle of Sudhangshu. Here is a Schematic Diagram to depict the geographical relationship between the home of Suchitra [coded Y0, for the academic publication] and that of the particular Neighbor. The latter’s home was a next-door of a next-door. At the middle was the home of Sudhangshu [coded Z0, for that scientific format].

Author’s Note about this Identification

Deben requested Prafulla to perform like an agent. So the latter went to the Subject’s residence, asking Renu Biswas to let Suchitra come at his home because a gentleman had arrived there to see Suchitra. Her mother agreed, but Suchitra was then busy in some household work where she became dirty with clay. So Prafulla first cleaned Suchitra’s body thoroughly with water and then brought her to his own home. And even while entering the campus, Suchitra identified Deben Bain from distance who was staying inside a building. She ran toward him, uttering “Dad, do you not recognise me? I am your Mamata!”

At this juncture, Deben Bain started weeping, out of enormous joy as Mamata was indeed a child of him who died. Suchitra jumped into his lap and hugged her alleged previous father.

Deben met Renu and even asked her “how much money” would she take as he could not help desiring to re-own Suchitra who was established to be his daughter Mamata returned. But she told him that this exchange would be unacceptable as Suchitra was born from her belly.
